Code Of Conduct Of Students

All students are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that contributes positively to an environment in which respect, civility, diversity, opportunity and inclusiveness are valued, to assure the success of both the individual and the community. The Student Code of Conduct reflects a concern for these values and tries to ensure that members of the college and the public can make use of and enjoy the activities, facilities and benefits of the college without undue interference from others.

Students Code of Conduct, nor is it intended to be, a substitute for the Code itself or the college’s full policies and regulations regarding non-academic student misconduct. Students are responsible for reading, understanding and abiding by the Code.

The entire Student Code of Conduct is available in the in Code of conduct Student Code of Conduct applies to any student enrolled in a credit course at the University, and including co-op and exchange students.

  • Every student shall wear clean, neat and formal dress, fitted to our culture and tradition.
  • During class hours, a student cannot go out of the classroom without the permission of the teacher concerned.
  • The use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited on the college campus. Students who violate this rule shall have to face disciplinary action.
  • The college expects students to foster a healthy and decent relationship in the campus and of campus. Any behavior contrary to this sprit is deemed unlawful and punishable.
  • During leisure hours, students are advised to use the library, and internet browsing center or students should go to the rest room. They should not stay in the classrooms.
  • When a teacher enters the classrooms, the students should raise and keep standing until they are asked to sit or until the teacher takes her seat.
  • Late comers are forbidden from entering the classrooms.
  • Students shall move from one classroom to another or get out of the classroom in an orderly manner, without making any noise.
  • Students should bring prescribed textbooks to the classes every day. Failing which they will be sent out of the classroom.
  • Defacing the blackboards of walls will be severely dealt with.
  • Students should handle the furniture and other properties with care. Damage to the furniture will lead to penalty or suspension from college.
  • Students should stay away from any anti social activities.
  • Students should stay wear their identity cards inside the campus daily.
  • Without the permission of the Principal, Students are not permitted to circulate any printed materials or pamphlets.
  • Ragging in any form is a serious offence and it will be dealt with severely.
  • Using University facilities, equipment, services or computers without authorization 
    Damage fee will be collected for any damage caused by them knowingly or unknowingly.
  • Assaulting, harassing, intimidating, or threatening another individual or group.
  • Endangering the health or safety of others.
  • Stealing, misusing, destroying, defacing or damaging University property or property belonging to someone else.
  • Students should take care of their belongings.
  • The institution will not be responsible for any loss. Using, possessing or distributing illegal drugs, Violating provincial liquor laws or alcohol policies.
  • Encouraging, aiding, or conspiring in any prohibited conduct. Failing to comply with a disciplinary measure or disciplinary measures imposed under the procedures of this Code.
